CancerCare contracted with Harborside to manage the survey process and overall development of the 2016 Patient Access & Engagement Report.
In 2015, CancerCare contracted with Harborside to manage the survey process and overall development of this report. Harborside aided in the development of the survey questions, managed the survey panel vendor as well as the data analysis, provided editorial support and guidance, and produced the publication. In addition, Harborside provided overall strategic consultation on the report.
The report is based on the results of six distinctly focused surveys, each with at least 500 respondents. The questionnaires probed patients’ access to care as well as their experiences and engagement related to their diagnosis, treatment, communication with the clinical care team, financial and insurance issues, quality of life and symptom management, and survivorship.
